Brief Description:

Appearance: David is a very lean, compact young man, whose appearance belies a certain kind of shrewdness that makes one want to stuff them into a locker. Has one long fang sticking out of his mouth, an absurdly long canine that pokes out even when his expression's neutral. Prefers casual clothing but does engage in his fantasy by wearing skintight plugsuit knockoffs.

Personality: Pride defines David and everything he does must direct right back into his ego, his work often branded with his name or his face to help tip people off as to whose genius was responsible for it. His self-absorption seems to root in his own insecurities, and he has very, very deep issues with his impermanent nature as an average human being.

Mechanical Ideal - 5 (Power)
David's skill with machinery seems to stem from somewhere deeper in his psyche, allowing his mind to instinctually understand the various potential applications each machine has, letting him build and adapt nearly any machinery into a form that best fits the situation. Unconsciously guided by this instinct, David himself barely understands how his machines work, often needing to take them apart to see how he even got them working.

Even with his powers operating the way they do, David himself isn't totally unskilled. He's gifted with a very good eye for how parts fit together, and sees the way machinery operates as long as he has enough time and peace of mind. With this sense he can spot weaknesses in machines as well as ways to improve them. His own machines aren't subject to his eye for structural weaknesses, as he believes them to be perfect.
